Ashley + Sydney | Woodland Elopement

There is so much that I could say to you about Ashley and Sydney. First things first, I am in love with this couple, I mean truly, head over heels in love. One of my favorite things to see as a photographer is couples that absolutely cannot get enough of each other. You can always tell by the way they look into each other's eyes or the way their hands naturally seem to find each other like magnets. And let me tell you, these two are destined to be together. 

I connected with them through my annual New Years Giveaway, they won a free engagement session and later hired me to also shoot their elopement. I began chatting with Ashley, the lovely lady with the killer dyed hair, and she started to tell me about the whimsical elopement the two were planning. She sent me images of the beautiful lace tea length dress and her magical flower crown made out of old book pages.  

Ashley told me about their original plans to get married in the same garden that they had their first date in as well as the place Sydney proposed to her. I was so unbelievably excited to shoot something so fantastic with such an awesome couple! We all had so much in common, they are both inspired by nature and love the environment, so we decided to have their engagement session surrounded by nature. 

When I first met them, it was a rainy Sunday afternoon at a local dog park for their engagement session. We decided to meet at a local dog park near the pair's apartment in Marietta. It was an amazing space, filled with beautiful woods that were covered in dew drops from the early morning rain. Here are a few shots from their session:

After all the exploring during their engagement session, Sydney and Ashley decided to have their wedding at the same place! The two had a small intimate elopement with a few friends and it couldn't have been more perfect for these two lovers! Here is a few images from that special day!
