what to expect

for your photoshoot

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

We will have a blast! I love getting to know my clients as individuals and I try to make everyone as comfortable as possible! I want everyone to have a wonderful time on the photoshoot even if I have to dance around to get that classic laughing picture! I want your session to be as uniquely beautiful as you/your family is! The length of the shoot all depends on the package of your choice!

There is a 1-2 week turnaround for portrait sessions and 3-5 weeks for weddings.

when is the best time to shoot?

In my opinion, the best time to shoot is either an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. As seasons change so do those times. However, if those times don't work for you I will happily shoot at anytime, those are just preferences based on the beautiful lighting.

where will we take photos?

Anywhere! I love exploring new places and going someplace different, but I also have a list of places that I love to shoot!

Locations:

  • Little Five Points
  • Krog Street Tunnel
  • Jackson St. Bridge
  • Beltline
  • Ponce City Market
  • Parking Garage
  • Westside Provisions
  • Downtown Decatur
  • Marietta Square
  • Antique Row Chamblee
  • McDaniel Family Farm
  • Kennesaw Mountain
  • Stone Mountain
  • Roswell Mill
  • John's Creek Environmental Campus
  • Brookrun Park

what do i wear?

It is best to wear something comfortable and that you feel confident in! For seniors I suggest one casual outfit and then one outfit that is a little more formal. For families I suggest finding a color or two to center your wardrobe around!

If you need any help, I will happily talk over outfits with you!

what do you shoot with?

I shoot on two Canon 5D Mark 3 cameras, which are both full frame. My favorite lens to shoot on would be my 50mm but I also shoot with:

  • 35mm
  • 85mm
  • 70-200mm
  • 100mm
  • 45mm tiltshift

how do you edit your photos?

I mostly edit using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
